Jonah Attah, on Tuesday emerged the technical representative on the board of the Nigeria Squash Federation (NSF) having polled 25 out of the 27 votes cast in the federation’s elections held at the package B of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

He pledged to work with the new board of the Federation to advocate for equal prize money for females in Squash

“I’m happy with this victory, I have been looking forward to this day, because I have been contributing immensely to Squash.

“Now, I have the opportunity to be part of the federation’s board and do more, especially with the experience I have gathered over the years,” he said.

He said that a structure exists to enhance the development of the sport in the country.

“I have been working with the schools around the stadium, but now I will expand it to outside FCT at the national level. We will organise more competitions to identifying raw talents to develop the sports in the country.

“We are going to encourage female folks to participate in squash,” he said.

Supreme reports that Jonah Attah garnered 25 votes while his opponent, Bala Magaji had just one vote with one voided vote at the end of collation.
