Parents and their children and wards troop in numbers to Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day Fiesta, organised by Fresh FM.

Supreme reports that the Fiesta had various entertainers from the movie industry, musicians, comedians, and skit makers, in attendance to thrill the children.

Some of the entertainers include: Small Doctor, Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola, Toyin Abraham, Femi Adebayo, Woli Agba, Peteru, Broda Shaggi, Ibrahim Chatta and Yinka Ayefele.

Mrs Adeyemi Obadina, a parent, expressed that Fresh FM provided an opportunity for both parents and their children to unwind and meet various Nigerian celebrities at once.

Obadina said that this day will linger on for almost a lifetime in the hearts of her children.

“I came here with my three children and the youngest is 8 years old. She cannot forget today’s experience in a very long time. I’m seeing people that I only see on television and social media.

“They have been accommodating by patiently taking pictures with everyone who wants to,” she said.

Mr Sola Adeosun, another parent, said that if he didn’t bring his children here today, he’s not sure they would ever forgive him.

Adeosun said that his children heard about the event on radio and asked that they be allowed to attend because of Woli Agba.

“ You see these wonderful children that God gave me, they exhaust my data by watching Woli Agba on Instagram. Since the day they heard about the event it’s been daily reminder about them attending.

“As a parent it’s our duty to make sure that we give our children what they want, as long as one can afford it and it’s a good course.

“I thank Fresh Fm for this event. They have indeed made the Children’s Day celebration memorable for our children,” he said.

Christopher Benson, 12, said that he came for the event because of Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham.

Benson said that he loves how she acts in movies and that this event is the perfect opportunity for him to relate with her.

“She’s a fantastic actress who can interpret any role. I must watch any movie that she features in. I must say this is my best Children’s Day celebration yet,” he said.
