Sunday Ajana, Head Coach of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) male handball team, says his team will make a good impact at the 2020 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League.

Ajana told Newsmen on Thursday in Abuja that his team would perform well to be among the best three in the league.

“We finished fourth in last year’s edition of the league. This time around, we will work hard to have a good result and be among the best teams in the national league.

“My players have been training for the past two weeks. We will have a full house on Oct. 2 to camp in our office’s headquarters in Abuja, and to commence preparations for the competition,’’ he said.

The coach, who recalled that his team won the North-Central League in February in Abuja, said they were looking forward to getting three to four new players to reinforce the team.

“We will correct all our mistakes before the start of the league, and we will work hard to win all our games,’’ he added.

Supreme reports that the 2020 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League will hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja from Oct. 23 to Nov. 7.
